Introduction The landscape of industrial law can be a minefield. This is partly because we have seen, in the past 10 years, a procession of different governments passing and subsequently repealing, numerous pieces of industrial legislation. To complicate matters further, we have moved in more recent years from a system involving State and Federal industrial laws and Industrial Commissions, to a more centralised federal scheme.
